Red Flag Warning- No Open Burning Until Tuesday 3/7, 6:00 AM

The National Weather Service issued a Red Flag warning that includes Coal Creek Canyon. A Red Flag warning means weather conditions (typically winds and heat combined) are set for potential extreme fire behavior; i.e. significant combustion and rapid spread. A red flag warning allows no open air burning.

Our fire weather zones are Fire Weather Zone 239 (below 6,400 ft) and Fire Weather Zone 215 (above 6,400 ft.).

No open burning allowed in Coal Creek Canyon until Tuesday, March 7th, 6:00 AM
